Born and raised in the heart of Alabama, I never imagined that painting would become my passion or that I'd one day own an art gallery. Growing up, the idea of painting never crossed my mind; my only connection to art as a child was my Crayons.

It wasn't until I became a young mother at twenty that I discovered my love for painting. While seeking to create a special wall hanging for my newborn daughter's nursery, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time. This initial foray into painting was driven by a desire to preserve our family's finances and express my profound joy of motherhood. During this painting quickly became a natural extension of myself, blending seamlessly with the rhythms of my life.

Over the years, my life has been filled with both adventure and shall I say, a bit of misadventure. While I wasn't always painting regularly, the creative spark within me never dimmed. Two decades ago, I transitioned from oils and realism to acrylics and abstracts, embracing a more eclectic approach to my art. Today, my work reflects the sum of my vast experiences, weaving together elements of my story into vibrant and dynamic compositions.

Becoming a full-time artist has been a dream come true, marked by numerous awards and the opportunity to share my work with art lovers around the world. I find immense joy in connecting with people through art, both online and in person.

My journey as an artist has been shaped by the unwavering support of my husband, Mark, and his belief in me together with his creative spirit has been instrumental in my artistic development. I am endlessly grateful for his encouragement and love.
